It kindof looks like a very long pencil sharpener. And without any kind of description given I have to assume that's what it is.

You don't think it might be a cigarette lighter?

yeah, "3D disposable lighter" is a kind of ambiguous title.. I mean that could be anything! ;)
Nice job on getting the fluid in there too. is it a seperate modeled object or did you texture that in? Or is it post processed.. some of it seems almost like it's been adjusted in illustrator. It's a fairly nice render either way

It didn't have that title the first time I viewed, but now that it was pointed out to me, duh. :)

As for not recognizing it without any help, I guess my only excuse is I'm not a smoker so I don't often come into contact with lighters.

Ha, I guess rootdown's not a smoker! Well, I'm not either, but I still keep a couple of those things in my desk. It's a bit simple, but that's just the nature of the object. Well-rendered!

Hi thanks for the feedback, the whole image is done entirely in lightwave, there is no altering it in illustrator of Photoshop afterwards, i did use photoshop to do the bump mapping artwork on the chrome section (pre rendered)

its just 1 model with different named textures

thanks again for the feedback
